1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BatchRaptor at https://batchraptor.pages.dev/ (“Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BatchRaptor is a client-side image conversion application that allows users to convert images to various formats using WebAssembly in the browser. Features include batch processing, drag-and-drop uploads, and support for formats like JPEG, PNG, WebP, and more. The Service is provided “as is” and operates locally on your device.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use BatchRaptor. Client-side processing means your images are not uploaded to our servers, but you are responsible for ensuring your files are free of malware or illegal content.
  • Prohibited Conduct: You may not:
    • Use the Service for illegal purposes or to process unlawful content.
    • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Service or its WebAssembly module.
    • Overload or disrupt the Service (e.g., through excessive requests).

4. Intellectual Property

  • Our Rights: BatchRaptor, including its code, design, and WebAssembly module, is licensed under the MIT License. You may use the Service as permitted by this license and these Terms.
  • Your Content: You retain ownership of any images you process. Since processing occurs client-side, we do not store or claim rights to your images.

5. No Accounts or Subscriptions

BatchRaptor does not currently require user accounts or subscriptions. If this changes, we will update these Terms and notify users.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for all file types.
  • We are not liable for any damages (e.g., data loss, device issues) arising from your use of the Service, to the extent permitted by law.
  • Since processing is client-side, you are responsible for backing up your files before conversion.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or for any reason, without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service or legal requirements. Updates will be posted at https://batchraptor.pages.dev/terms, with the “Last Updated” date revised. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
